About Ada Mae's Sweets

A lot of people have asked me, "Who is Ada Mae?"​ Ada — which rhymes with "made a," as in "made a great cake" — was my grandmother. Every summer my sisters and I were blessed to be able to visit her and other family in the same small town in southern Indiana. It was a special time for us that we hold dear. We spent long summer days with friends and family — going to Bible school, playing, laughing, fishing, catching fireflies, and making memories. Among other things,  grandma made fabulous cinnamon rolls, bread, and angel food cake.

In addition to the many great bakers in my life, from whom I have learned so much, I hold a degree in baking and pastry arts from a certified culinary program. I also keep my ServSafe certification up to date and am happy to provide a copy of my certification at any time.
